Marathon! !!! No enough time

Hey skimblers, the 5k race is 1week away and my time is 19:26 I want to take a minute down from my time and I can do so if I increase my average speed by 1km/hr , but how should I do that? Should I train for endurance or speed?

I personally think you should train for go since you'll need speed to go faster and endurance to, well, endure the entire race without draining yourself

Train, but not the day before the race. You need to give your muscles time to recover. Good luck and enjoy!

Of course s.c.s.a this is for sure I should rest my muscles a day before the race :)
