Ankle trouble

So I recently went running and hurt my ankle quite badly. As Im waiting for it to heal would anyone know any workouts on here that wouldn't strain it?? :)

Sorry darling you need to RICE rest ice elevate if pain persists you might have a sprain in which case you'll need to see a podiatrist the good news you can always do upper body :-)

Yeah, it's called the "stay off your ankle till it heals" workout :) 

See a doctor if you can just so you didn't break anything.  I fractured my fibula a few years ago and was off it for about a full month.  Was fully back like in 2.  Got a brace?

When you think you're good, try it out and stop if there's still pain or you'll just re-injure it.

Be patient, it'll get better but you can't force it :)

If you live in a state that has direct access for Physical Therapy(ie no MD referral needed) I suggest a consult with one. They can show you exercises that are safe to perform. Also will help speed up your recovery. Otherwise you are stuck with upper body stuff, rest and ice to the ankle. You could also look at machine exercises for the hip and knee provided they are open chained exercises(ones where the foot is not in contact with the ground or platform- so it is not stressed)

Thanks for the help everyone :) Ankle is 100% now..mind u Im updating like 10months later lol. Now it's my lower back Haha. But it is getting better :)
