Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any tips on running? I run occasionally-at school when we have to, but I feel like I come last in everything and I feel I need to improve, and since its the new year - what better time to start?
I also get tired out really easily, - does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to improve any of this?
im 5,5 and I weigh 118lbs:/

Hey hon. When you say running, how long a distance are you talking? A mile? Two miles? Half...?

I can run 2 miles without a problem, but when it comes to 3 I get short of breathe and get a burning in my throat, my pe teacher told me to push through it because its your body adapting to go that far or something, but im having trouble:/

In terms of running, i am a sprinter with asthma-that being said, i do think i can help you. Your coach/ teacher is kinda right. You are going to have to push beyond your two mile limit to where you might be pretty uncomfortable. But the more you do it, the easier itll come. If i were you id try some pyramids. Theyre a great way to go beyond your comfort zone... comfortably!
