Because I go to the gym after work or school and why would I bother taking it off when I'm going to shower after the gym anyways?

It's not about you, boys.

Ok... is that the reason why you have profile pics in a thong and topless? Not for the guys, but because you're coming back from work? What, are you a porn star or a stripper or something?

14 Jan
Proud of myself :) and comfortable in my skin. Lovelove.
14 Jan
Aww Terry don't be so mean. If my body looked half as good as hers... I'd post them too. Lol :P

Cool story. Is this one of those feminist rallies I keep hearing about?

14 Jan
Nah man, this broad has pictures of herself topless and in a thong on her profile - I'm pretty sure feminists don't get down like that lol
14 Jan
You sure? I mean she obviously knew i always wondered why she wore makeup to the gym, and was very forward to tell me she didn't do it for me. Wait, Who is this girl again?
14 Jan
Oh terry. It's called sex positive feminism. Look it up.

Yeah, I mean I'm really comfortable in my skin honestly. It's something I'm proud of cause I worked really hard on it. it's a body though and not the only thing about me. The purpose was really that people shouldn't judge on such trivial things. Just because she's wearing makeup or posting pics it doesn't mean she's not working hard or that it's for you :D anyways. People will always hate. Hope you have a good day though!

Just to err on side if caution, a little modesty will take you much further in your journey and the online works is a playground for predators, your near nude photos may be used for sick and twisted purposes. This is not a protected site, is totally public and a classic forum for wrong doings so please consider this for your own safety young lady...you don't need to stoop to near nudies on Skimble to announce your physique we can all see your work and confidence without all that.

I don't see a problem... I will be worried if it gets runny after all the sweat when you hit the gym

I just searched "makeup gym" on twitter and just in the past day there are tons of tweets making fun of and/or judging women who wear makeup at the gym. Many of them, sadly, were written by women.

Like, come ON... in a society that expects women to be attractive before they are taken seriously, and where many of us are AT the gym because of external pressures to be "perfect," you're really gonna judge someone for the way they need to get through the day? That's called "being part of the problem."

Like I said, some people need to take advantage of any opening to put someone else down and feel better about themselves. So sad.

Wear makeup, or don't. Work until you're a sweaty mess, or just get the blood flowing. Whatever you want. Eff the haters.

I can honestly understand both perspectives.

Respect women who go to the gym to work hard (regardless of wearing make up or not). But anyone (male or female) who says they're not showing their body off because they like the attention is probably not being 100% truthful.

But working out in make-up clogs your pores. I rinse mines off before a workout. That's what the locker room is for. To prepare...you wouldn't go to bed in make up just because your going to get up and put it on all over again in the morning. It literally takes 2 min to take off.

14 Jan
Common sense right! Make up while working out is classic attention seeking behaviour...
14 Jan
Actually I do go to bed in makeup if I haven't showered :/ woops.
14 Jan
Mind you. I consider it a win if I brush my teeth before I sleep. Gross right ? :P
15 Jan
:0 You brush your teeth before you sleep. That's just shocking...

But good point about pores. :s #learningalil donna, really? It's attention seeking behavior? really your missing my point here. It was more about not judging people and why would others care about something like that. If people need attention for validation anyways why care? Everyone's in different places and maybe they're really struggling with self image. Just a thought. Why be so judgmental. One thing I've found is that the happier I am with myself and my own accomplishments the less judgmental I am to the things that other people do or don't do. Especially things that are trivial.

Respect
It doesn't matter how you work out.You could do it in a red dress and nobody should judge you, because it's your choice.Anyway, people think that working out is easy because they wish to do what we do.We should be proud of our bodies and souls!

If you have a great body that you have worked hard to get then you should be proud to show it off. From an ex-resident of Toronto.  Where I know the people are all lovely.

I'm with you Steph, I like to feel good with myself, that's why I make effort. Unfortunately nowadays it's more acceptable to completely neglect yourself cause then you're not conforming to media and social pressure apparently. And when you look good you're seen as empty and full of yourself not just as a healthy person as it should be.

It's shocking how many people are so critical in a group called motivation and support.... It this pisses you off that much. Move on. And get to your work out!
15 Jan
Ok. 1. You said 'it' instead of 'if'. What? I'm a perfectionist. 2. Ok, seriously people need to not give a... Yeah. People need to either say it nicely or not at all, as well as stop questioning everything you do. What you do and why you do it is completely up to you and people can't take that away. Besides, this app allows you to show your body off and feel proud about it, so there's never really a line to be crossed. If none of that made sense, yes, I'm supporting you.

Why should you or any girl were makeup in the first place, I'd bet you'd look beautiful without it. I personally like a girl that doesn't wear makeup it's okay every now and then but when she's without makeup, to me it expresses her natural beauty.

Sometimes I've worn makeup at the gym, because its easier for me to go to the gym right after work while I still have some energy to burn and its on the way to my house anyways.

I don't wear makeup at all and even if I did, I wouldn't give a .... what people thought.
It's a free world,  do whatever you feel like.
