From the looks of things I don't think you need to loose 20 pounds! 
Remember, guys find being underweight less attractive then being overweight. 
Still, excersize and eat right to be healthy until your body finds a weight where it can be comfortable.

I actually think that my "selfie game" is just too strong haha...after the huge holiday season, I put on weight

weight loss shouldn't be a goal unless your obese. Instead aim for healthy eating and exercise. Are you trying to gain muscle or flatten your stomach?

Both actually! By losing 20 pounds I meant going from fat to muscle, not losing it completely. Any recommendations for firming up my stomach?

Spinal surgery in 2007, was paralyzed from the waste down due to playing sports. Had to relearn how to walk after a successful surgery. 7 years later.....brown belt in jiu jitsu, a golden gloves fighter, became a Personal Trainer, body builder now a Bike Patrol Officer for Fort Worth, Texas(:
