I listen to my favourite metal tracks. Listening to music kind of distracts me from the effort :P

I listen to the genre Electro House on Pandora but when I'm just going beat mode I'll listen to Metalcore. Hope this helps.

A few from my Workout playlist:
How Far We've Come - Matchbox 20
Inner Ninja - Classified feat Olly Murs
And too many songs to write up from the album Night Visions Deluxe.  Also, search up this band called Op Shop - they've got some great workout gems.

Eye of the tiger... Burning heart
lol Rocky stuff!

I love The Prodigy to work out to but that was music from my era, you will know what works for you... a great tune will keep you standing when you were about to give up. Good luck... Train hard!

Lately I've been into Bassnectar. My tastes vary so my answer will be different next week. :-)

Drum and bass like Netsky & Halycon and anything UKF drum and bass or UKF Dubstep. They both have a high bpm count to get you moving and the drops on the bass help you power through your workout when you feel like giving up!

Depends on the workout. For aerobic and cross-training workouts I'm all about the EDM; from old-school classics by Basement Jaxx & Daft Punk to newer groups like Zedd and Calvin Harris. For weight training I like stuff that's a little harder, usually rock, occasionally D&B and even, dare I say it, a couple dubstep tracks.

If you like EDM I'd check out MotionTraxx [ motiontraxx.com ] & Podrunner [ djsteveboy.com/podrunner.html ] There are some great tracks mixed in both. If you want specific track suggestions for a certain type of workout,  just ask. For example, my current go to while doing ALL-OVER body TONE-SCULPT and LEAN-UP!! is MotionTraxx's Latino-city Vol 2.
