Feeling miserable

So, within the past year I have gained what feels like a ton of weight. I work constantly so I'm sure it is mostly coming from my "fast meals" and not dedicating enough time to actually working out. However, I realize I need the change. I struggle constantly with finding something in my closet to wear that looks cute and is comfortable (but also fits properly) and ultimately as I stated before I'm miserable. Where is a good place to start that both my girlfriend and myself would follow through?

Instead of "fast meals", you could use a slow cooker because there are tons of really easy and healthy recipes out there that take no time to prepare. Also, if you have time on weekends, you could cook/prep meals you would eat later in the week. Hope that helps :-)

Commit to working out 30 min a day. Drinking more water. And snacking in fruits and veggies in between meals.

I take a few hrs every two weeks and prep freezer meals I can just thaw and Love my slow cooker. I just Google healthy slow cooker meals and freezer meals and there's tons to pick from. I also plan out my meals and snacks. Saves so much time.and I find it helps me keep on track.

Well, you have an idea as to where the problem is.

Thanks guys! Already started doing small workouts tonight and placed myself on a schedule.

Thanks for the tips! Any specific healthy slow cooker recipies you would recommend!

I've made slow cooker stuffed peppers. They turned out really well. There are tons of recipes for them online. Allrecipes is usually a good place to find meal ideas.

Hang in there Ashley!  You made the first step and that's often the  toughest.  Check in here regularly for motivation and to help you stick to your plan.
