After my exercise I usually put 4 eggs, 2 bananas, some honey, vanilla essence and 500 ml milk all in a blender, then have it like that! Tastes awesome and its loads of protein!
Look for a whey protein and mix it with water for after your workout. It will be absorbed quicker into your muscles. Take a casien protein before bed and use milk, so it will break down slower.
I always go written whey protein. You don't need to buy the expensive stuff either, just watch the ones that have high sugar and fat content.
