Neck Pain with Core?

I wanted to know if anyone has tips for thw neck pain you get with core related workouts because i feel like it really hinders my ability to get in more reps :(

Your neck most likely hurts due to the strain you are putting on it while doing sit ups. Try to be aware of how much you are pulling on your neck form is key for every movement you do.

I've heard that putting your tongue on the roof of your mouth while doing core exercises helps release the tension from your neck more :)

Lift your body with your abs not your neck.  When doing crunches, cross your arms on your chest, not around the back of your head. What I do when doing crunches is stick my chin towards the ceiling so I'm not using my neck as much. I had the same problem and now I don't feel a thing in my neck
