Pull ups - front or behind

Would love some feedback - should do my pull ups pulling my chin over the bar or neck behind.

Do both. Then go wide grip if doing a close grip and vice versa

I never recommend pulling the bar behind your neck. First off, it's not a natural or functional movement. How many times do you actually do that in your everyday routine? Second, most people jerk their neck forwards, causing unnecessary strain on the neck. What does the lat pull down primarily work? Lats and bi's. You can kill those with proper form using either an overhand or underhand grip
