Back pain& need motivation!

I had back surgery a few months ago from broken discs. I'm 24 and kind of feeling down because I can't really move in all the ways I used to. please encourage me! Also if you have any suggestions on good exercises and stretches. I'm new at this and would appreciate the feedback

I agree with Lee T. You should take it easy. I would suggest starting out with just some light stretching exercises. However, you should get your doctor's Ok beforehand.

Get out and walk. Check with your MD or a Physical Therapist as to what exercises are safe for you at this time as they can all depend on your surgery and what procedure was done and how involved .

You should sit this out. Maybe heal a little. Plus, what is your fitness goals? Lose weight or build muscle?

Either way, relax and take it easy. Baby steps.

warm packs on spine for 30 min then stretch back on foam roller

after that try yoga

and walks after meals just around the neighborhood.

start small and slowly get bigger
