I've been doing this for a while and the only real feel I get out of it is sore palms and it messes up my elbows! Is it really worth it?
Then maybe don't do the Dimond push ups spread your arms apart more. Maybe leave your hands 8-10 inches apart and your push ups will be just as affective

It works different parts of your arms. Doing pushups on different positions (wider than shoulder width, shoulder width, and diamond) works your chest and different muscles in your arm. ~ I hope that makes sense.
