Yay!!! I just started the workouts & reading these posts last week. They have some great stuff on here. Love that I can do a quick 7 min session before bed, or a few short ones when I actually have some down time. Hopefully we can share tips &/or motivate each other!!!☺☺☺

Same here! I stopped going to my personal trainer about 3-4 months ago. Bought a new scale last night & it looks like I've put on 5lbs....looks more like 15, but that's what happens when ur muscles turn back to mush. I don't care about the # on the scale, just love to lose inches & feel good.

Well I just recently started with a trainer to try to keep my stress level down. When I stress out I get shingles, yes I'm way to young for them but I get them. And it's all stress induced. I have a busy life, 3 boys, a stressful job. But I Love it. Ha  So it's very easy for me to come home and lay on the couch bc I'm just done with. So I figured doing these lil exercises instead of laying down will help me as well. Motivation is a struggle for me. As it is for everyone I'm sure. Now to just figure this app out and get moving. Lol

My grandmother had it for about 8 years......& a girl, I say girl bc she was only 28, I used to work with had it as well. Yes, this app will help. I stress way too much, 4 kids....ages 17, 16, 13, & 6!.....housewife, but about to start nursing school. So meditation & these quick workouts here & there are helping me not lash out so much. I stopped going to training bc of an injury, now my trainer has had to take on a 2nd job, so looks like I'm on my own. She was only charging me $99 a month to come 3-4 times a week. I was the only dedicated one, & as ppl backed out of the group, she started loosing money. So here I am. I just started with the meditation. It's hard to get 30 mins to myself, but I figured it out. So glad I did, bc there's nothing like focusing on my breathing ONLY! Everything's easier to do after......that is on the days I'm able to meditate & not have to go straight to bed!!!! Lol!

Thanks Mike :-)
Suzanne how did you learn about meditation? I really don't think I could do it, but I sure would give it a shot. Lol  My boys are ages 19 and 2-9yr olds. I use to deal with stress really well until my oldest sons dad was killed in a boating accident. And then the stress has been on. And so have the shingles. Ughhh. I have been to specialist and everything. Bc of my age no one wants to give me the shot and they just tell me to stop stressing. Ha. Sure wish it was easier than that. I love to work out, it's just fitting it into my crazy life.

I'm so sorry for your loss.....As for meditation, Dr. D Ivan Young, who I see once a week, is the one that taught us how to meditate. I have my fave sound I pull up on YouTube, it's 3 hours long, but I usually only do 15-60 min, depending on how hectic it is. If you have Facebook pull him up. Search D Ivan Young. He's known all over the world & I'm lucky enough to have him in my city. I don't know how to add a link here, or inbox yet, but I'd be more than happy to let you know exact YouTube video it is. The 1st time we meditated it was in his office. He turned the lights off, had us close our eyes, & told us to focus on our breathing & let the thoughts flow thru our minds. 15 mins later turned lights on, asked what we thought about & we both said we COULDN'T think of anything. Lol. He said, "Congratulations, you did it right".
This is something you can do in ur car, a dark area is best, but any time you feel your stress level rising, excuse yourself & meditate. I don't get motivated easily when it comes to others advice, but so far I have done everything he has told me, including knowing how to pray, & it's really made a difference. He has a Blogtalk radio show that comes on tonight.....you can listen from your phone, & pull all archives. I'm in Texas, CST, so I'll be listening at 7:30 tonight. His shoe he did about Manifesting, about 3 Sunday's ago.....I highly suggest pulling up & listening to. Btw, how old are you?? I just turned 39 Friday. You WILL beat shingles, stressing, & so many other obstacles that come in your way. I'm here for you if you ever want to talk off this site......if we can figure out how, lol. Let me pull that you tube link. Let me know if you find Dr. Young on Facebook.

3 hours long Tibetan Singing Bowls meditation. It's the 2nd choice when I look it up on YouTube. I have things I can email you as well if interested. Going grocery shopping, but I'll check back with you.....
