Your muscles need rest to grow, usually 24-48 hours... this I know. What I'm not understanding is should I not work out at all or not on the same muscle group. I've been serious about using this app again and doing research to get my body in prime shape and rest is so important.
So my question, should I have a rest routine?
Regardless I'll be doing something physical everyday, like walks with my son and I also work as a bus monitor and you'd be surprised with the up and down the steps and "the squat" I actually get a mini without twice a day.
So I'm really just wondering if anyone agrees with the idea to schedule in rest?
