So....I failed at 15lbs before the New Year. But I'm back again and could really use some help. I failed because I picked up a seasonal position and was beat...and I ate! I am proposing we try it again. Same parameters....weigh in once a week on Fridays. Full body pics once a month (if u want), and late night distractions(motivaton) from goodies! Lol. WHOSE IN?

Same here! Plus I always crave something sweet or starchy...when I did the 30 lbs in 3 months on another post it was helpful talking to folks and seeing their workouts...pushed me a little. Gained the little weight I lost back but doc says I really need to fix it.

Felicia great work be proud of yourself. I quit smoking 3-yrs ago and my metabolism is seriously slow.I lost 10 lbs since.its a working progress

Hey Brie! Welcome! We plan to post height, weight, full body pic Friday. Then every week just weight. Once a month another pic....so we can see our changes. I want the forum to be used to help distract us from eating badly or to vent lol....annnnnd to help keep each other motivated to work out!

I'm in my ultimate goal is 130 started Monday at 180 down to 176. Everyone can do this make weekend count.

I weighed in at 258 yesterday. I was 278 6 months ago. This next 3 months is going to be founded on harder workouts, better hydration,  and healthier eating,  but that is my weakness. Food.

hey everybody slept late but feel better. I've noticed something this diet it protein n veggies and even though i miss carbs its better the meat keeps me walking around wanting food lol but carbs would put me to sleep so found a plus other than weightloss

Maybe ill read up on Atkins....I kinda just been making it up as I go lol! Doc says I have diabetes so I have been trying to educate myself on it...reading labels and what not..

40 lbs in 8 months

Doing a tough mudder in September and need to be in shape for that (otherwise, I'm dead lol). My main issue is the eating part of losing weight .. no idea where to start or how to transition to eating better.

Girl! You are a good one! I thought I was doing good doing the warrior dash! I am the same way...I can work out....its the eating. I think ima quantity and not quality eater...lol. gotta figure out how to do both and be satisfied

People think I won't do it. It's going to be interesting. Regardless if i do it or not..I have until the beginning of October to lose what I need to :P the tough mudder is definitely gonna test my will to live haha. Omgosh! Definitely a quantity eater here! Good portion size is not my friend :P lemme know if you figure out any tricks!

Happy Monday!  Get a workout in and eat well...I figured out that I can eat a medium potato and a whole bag of steamed broccoli with a tiny bit of cheese and my sugar wont spike!  Talk about quantity!  And its less than 300 calories!

How is everyone doing today? I will admit that for the game, I had a pretzel with no salt or butter, a sprite, and a chicken wrap...half of which fell on the floor! That has to be the perfect meal for a diabetic...right? Jk:-)

Ok ok so I went from 410 to 327 now I'm 362.0 I could just cry but I won't cause I blame myself but I'm done playing the blame game n I know what needs to be done period!!! starting weight is 362.0 my goal weight is 270 3months imma go for it or close to it !!!!

Don't spend a lot of time blaming yourself for anything you've done wrong. We are all human and we all make mistakes you still manage to maintain a 50 pound weight loss which is an accomplishment

lol wish I could say I'm doing well.... but I've fallen off and ate carbs. gotta find medium cuz i pretty much  went all out fail lol. aiming for 30 minutes of cardio a day and need to do a menu diet cuz if i have too many options i say o just one bite of this or that and it ends up being more than one. so gonna search for menu. I'll post tomorrow
