What should you do to get faster.

I have always loved running in the spring and summer. Now since it is winter I do not get out as much. Do you have eny ideas on how I can matain my speed and ability.

Keeping your flexibility is the key to maintaining your speed. Holding a position for 90 seconds or more is recommended,but be sure not to bounce. Breathe and relax. You can't go wrong with the yoga sessions either.

Time on your feet even if not running helps keep the base speed somewhat. I have found there is no good substitute for mileage though.
