Any tips to staying consistent through out pain?

Before working out take a pain pill to decrease the risks of having pain or to decrease the pain while working out. Personally I have excruciating knee pains in both of my knees, I also run cross country so it's very challenging and I want to give up at times while competing. The only way I keep myself going is by talking to myself in my head. I tell myself to run to a specific spot that is ahead of me and by the time I get to that spot I make myself a new goal. Learn to love the pain. Think the pain you feel today, will be strength you have earned. There is no easy way, or cheat way to get around pain. There's ibuprofen, pain killers, but don't rely on that. The more you work your muscles and the more consistent you stay I can promise you that you will hurt less or at very least get use to it. Now go and give your body hell.. ;)
