I was wondering if anyone is doing or has done the 5:2 diet? The diet is where you limit the intake of calories for two non consecutive days in the week. I believe you should limit it to 500 (for women) and 600 (for men). The other five days you eat normally (but sensibly) i.e. You eat in accordance with recommended daily intake for adults 2,000 calories for women and 2,500 for men.
Please let me know if you have done it and what kind of food you had on the two days you limited your calorie intake.
Well by rule of thumb I eat more on training days mainly carbs. And on non training days I limit carbs. Basically a carb cycle, but I do like to just refer to it as a caloric deficit. Which is highly effective for cutting fat.
