Post workout headache!!

I've been going to the gym for a few months now and I've noticed I end up with a headache about half an hour after I've finished, does this happen with other people??

When I go up and down from the floor to standing a lot,  I tend to get headaches. I think taking it slow when moving a lot might help; it's helped me now that I'm more conscious that I get headaches after doing workouts from this app since there is a lot of up and down. Hope this helps!

I did when I started this app. I wasn't drinking enough water for one and was going from floor to standing too quickly. I also have a tendency to 'pull' on my head and stretch my neck when doing crunches.

You've had your answer.. It's most likely dehydration.

Try to ensure you breathe properly whilst doing excersise to prevent a lack of oxygen which could make you feel lightheaded.

I also immediately thought dehydration, but I've noticed that  this can also happen if you have tension in your neck/shoulders/upper back. Just keep that in mind too :)

I go through a stretch programme though, would that not help relieve these tensions??

It might help a bit, but if you feel like you're a bit stressed out you could get someone to give you a massage.. Or do it yourself (check youtube)

Don't press too hard and keep on breathing. Cool down. When and what do you eat before you start?

I agree, Heiko. You will soon realize you forgot to eat when you start feeling bad while working out.

Maybe you're not giving your body enough rest between workouts or not eating proper to recover better
