Hi there, I just started this app last week and this is the first workout I did in quite a while, I did some core workouts for the past few days and my abdomen hurts so much even when I laugh cough do workouts etc. Just wanted to ask is this normal or did I do something wrong. Thanks in advance

This is not only normal, this is the point you want to reach in each and every workout and any muscle of your body! :-)
When you reached it, enjoy the pain being a witness of your hard work and take it slow on this muscle group for the next 1-3 days.
