Noticed many "I need someone else to motivate me" posts lately.... If you fall into the category of needing somebody else to motivate you to be active/eat healthy/lose weight/etc., then maybe this isn't the place for you.
I set goals: I decide where I want to go, how I will get there, and how long it will take me. I keep track of my progress: daily for nutrition, weekly for exercise, and monthly for weight. I decide whether or not I'm getting any closer, then I alter my plan accordingly.
It isn't my job to tell you that "you can do it!" I don't even know you! How am I supposed to know what will motivate you? If risk of diabetes, shortened life span, quality of life, or competitive instinct aren't enough, idk what to tell you. Frankly, if a few generic words from an online community of unidentifiable photos will change the way you behave, then maybe you're reason for being here isn't what it should be...
