I'm using this thread to track my progress and workouts for my 8 week program starting tomorrow.
It's a straightforward muscle/strength building routine based on both bodybuilding and power lifting techniques.
I've used these same methods before and have seen major strength gains to my max bench (from 155 to 220) and squats (around 200 to 430!).
If anyone else is interested in building some solid arm, leg, and core strength, feel free to follow along as I will be creating and posting here daily. It's a 7 day routine (with rest and optional cardio/stretching) utilizing one body part per day
Tuesday : Legs
Wednesday : Arms
Thursday : Shoulders
Stay humble, stay hungry, work hard.
Also, having gym access would be choice to receive maximum benefit from these workouts.
Nice going Jess! Yes this one does take forever and a day to get through. I really like to hit my chest hard, and this little number is well over 300 reps! I promise they won't all be this time consuming :)
Maan, over 300 chest reps hitting different angles gets all deep into the musclesss. And it feels so nice.

It's pretty short and straight forward. Still keeping things "easy" this week with straight 3 sets of 10 reps.

My chest and triceps are still pumped from last night's workout out. And o like it!

To those who it may concern, Jess,
* JackD * 8 Weeks To Increase - Day 3 - Arms has been created.
It a little over or under an hour depending on if you utilize the rests or not. I suggest you do as these are ALL supersets. And this is the easy version...it gets harder around week 3 or 4 so I'd enjoy it while you can.

Maaan! I should rename this from leg day to Cardio day...my heart rate was sky rocketed by the second set. I love it. 275 for 3 sets of ten, I don't think that's too bad at all.
Tomorrow I will tell a different story about leg day, between my racking
sobs and slow elderly walk. Ah well. It's what we're here for. #beastmodecamp. We lift heavy a** s**t!
As always, I've watched each and every one of you bust that behind today with your workouts. I want you to know it keeps me going, it keeps me pushing, it keeps me hungry and ready to make these gains. Keep digging my brothers and sisters.

I'm going to have a late night session tonight, so I took the extra time to complete workouts for days 4, 5, 6, and 7! Because I care. (Happy Jess!?)
This week is pretty easy, and mostly just a light warm up. The real work begins next week. Oh just wait.
Also, if you were wondering; I am Not taking any supplements/stack , other than the obligatory protein, during this course. I want these hard earned permanent gaaains. Not the creatine water bloated kind. Yeeeaaa. #beastmodecamp!! #AllOfIt
Another day in the books. Had to workout late as I promised a friend I'd bring him with me, and midnight here was the only time available. Kind through me all off...but I made him pay for it! Day 3- Arms! I love arm day...intense super set action the whole way through. Those rests were like air to a drowning man.
Tomorrow (today?) we have * JackD * 8 Weeks To Increase - Day 4 - Shoulders which is basically going to inadvertently rip up those triceps even more! Ah, the behold the beauty.
Anyway enough of my rambling. I am D.E.A.D
