I've always wondered, is biking good for losing fat? Also what do I wear to workout when biking? I hate the spandex shirts and pants

Biking is good for cardio and it builds leg muscle, which increases your metabolism. It is also low impact which means it is easier on your joints. And whenever I bike I just wear something that is comfortable and that won't get caught in the gears (baggy pants, loose shoelaces etc.). Unless you want to look like you compete in the tour de france, a full body spandex suit is unnecessary.
