Anyone got some tips on how to train for 400m races?Trying to qualify for Olympics in a few years time.
Do intervals! Run in a normal jogging speed for 15 min as a warm up, then start with a faster speed which you can hold for 2 min. Then slow down for 5min and then repeat, at least 5 times. But don't do every training the same, you need change because otherwise you get used to it. Combinate your training with sprints, long distance runs, coordination exercises
Ok thanks a lot! My weakness in running a 400m race is that my legs would get tired once im nearly done with the race but my stamina would be ok.Any advice for that?
