Why oh why do I crave sweets after a work out?? All I can think about is cake, muffins, chocolates etc
Can someone tell me why this happens and how I can beat the cravings?!
Try having a banana, and some nuts. There are many delicious, yet sugar free or low sugar, protein shakes out there. They can feel like a treat, especially when mixed with milk rather than water, or blend a banana & some blueberries in.
Sugar is crazy addictive, feeding itself. It's really hard to break the cycle because our modern diets keep throwing us right back into it. When i really wanna break out of a bad sugar cycle i use fruits (which contain sugar but a bit healthier form) to kind of wean myself off
