I've finally been cleared for light/moderate exercise after a difficult pregnancy. With both gestational diabetes and preeclampsia, I spent a good chunk of my pregnancy on bed rest. When the preeclampsia became severe, I had an emergency cesarean section. It was a close call.

The bottom line is that I need to get active and lose the baby weight. My blood pressure is still being controlled by medication. Basically, I could use any tips/advice/encouragement that I can get.

If you don't have one, pick up a jogger stroller and take your little one on some walks or runs. Little bit at a time. Keep at it and your little one is all the motivation you'll need.

My adv8ce, follow what your doctor's tell you. Your body has a lot of healing to do, exercise and good nutrition  are helpful, but don't overdo it. Your health is most important.  Brisk walking, yoga, playing with your baby,,etc. Eat healthy.
