Beginner Motivation Needed!!
Great to have the option to collaborate and look for some motivation around here
So, i am just starting out with workouts. Any words of advise to help keep myself motivated are welcome!!
for me, the best motivation is to set a goal, write it down, mayb add it to my online calendar with reminders, and the biggest part for me is telling people I will be doing it; bcause then I feel bound to do it so I'm not a liar or failure. we each have to find what works as motivation for us. verbal accountability, a picture of an outfit or slimmer us hanging on the fridge, a person that will text us weekly, etc
I agree. The problem with me goes something like; i start with a bang and i knock myself out too quickly. I just can't stay disciplined somehow. I find no way of getting over my laziness.
maybe- make a schedue on a calendar. only workout for a specific number of day a week. 3 or 4. to avoid burn out. schedule in breaks, to avoid burn out.
a goal is good. a goal with a detailed plan/schedule is better. identify your main problem (burnout?) and find a way to work around it (less days/shorter workout times).. Still have a need for the fitness scene and you have reached your limit of workouts for the week? Research fitness topics. keep a notebook of everything you learn and have questions about.

I think i need to get my body accessed somehow. Cuz i really have no clue where to begin. I will be joining a gym by the end of January. But before that, i need to find out my strengths and weeknesses.
In addition to burnout, i really think i am too low on energy. And i have no idea how to counter this low energy conundrum.
i experience low energy daily. (I havesome chronic health hurdles.) What helps for me: eating lots of protein spread through out the day (not getting on the Low Carb bandwagon!), Making sure I get enough iron and vitamin D, enough water, enough sleep
