Do you drink away your results?

Okay so im a personal trainer an went out friday night(didnt drink) an ran into 3 of my clients drinking heavy! Against my advice! So how many of you train hard during the week too drink away your results?

Is it still as bad if you plan your meals for the day with the sugar and calories of drinking at night in mind? Or does the alcohol itself sabotage your work?

Drinking beer is just bad if your trying to lose weight or build muscle, if your gonna drink anything make it clear whisky!

I used to drink nearly 3 to 4 pack of lite beer as a post workout warm down!! Never could lose those last 10 lbs because of the xtra 600 cals!

Yeah Rod, if you cut out the beer that last 10 pounds would probably melt off

Not me. I drink yes but never so much to affect my physique. I am lucky that i have a good metabolism

I used to drink alot at weekends now I maybe have 3 drinks n thats it n notice I dnt really have that bloating now om a weekend drink is ppls main downfall x

I actually dont drink at all. Am in a band nd usually end up drivin us home

I don't drink at all, being on creatine and drinking is a definite no-no. Your clients won't see results fast that is for sure. Tell them if they are going to drink keep it clear and with as little mix as possible. Probably white tequila is your best option, get some vitamin c, excessive amount of sodium but hardly any calories from the alcohol. Hopefully they just puke it up anyways

That's normally what I tell them, it's usually the females that have trouble not drinking in my experience! But there usually the one's that work the hardest in our sessions lol so I don't understand what there problem is. Maybe I'll charge them more if they drink, I bet that will work

Now that I am serious about my workouts and nutrition, I am trying to cut on the drinking... so far so good but bday coming up haha straight up whiskey or tequila u say? 😜
