Recovering from knee injury

I suffered a knee injury a few weeks ago and am finally feeling up to going back to the gym. Any suggestions on safe exercises that won't re-injure my knee?

Laura B: What kind of workouts are you doing now? I am heading back to the gym today to see what I can do (probably just stationary bike and I am going to try one of the low-impact workouts from this site)

Do not put weight on knee
Do workouts lying on your back
Keep it warm
For legs slowly flex and relax your knee joint while sitting on chair

I was going to start the exercise ball program on here.  Is that a safe low-impact workout?

Sorry i can't find that programe but you should avoid aggressive use like running or doing workout by sitting on your knee.but also do some easy workouts for the knee to make it better

Sorry, It's called Stability Ball. There are three levels and I am already familiar with using them so I was going to start at level 2.

yes you can do that .just remember dont put so much weight on your knee or aggresively use it .just use progressively slowly putting weight n knowing that you can do workouts u want
