Getting back into the swing of things..

I recently injured my hip while running and was advised to cease the harsh pounding that running does to your joints.
So I stopped exercising, period.
For 3 weeks.
I gained 10 pounds, my anxiety was heightened and everything was just completely off.
I went to the chiropractor, which helped, and decided to start exercising again. I got a book to help me with doing yoga and I continued to do yoga, here on the app. It was WAY more difficult to start exercising again, than it was to even start exercising.

I've decided to kick my butt in gear. It's difficult on most days, but I have to exercise to keep my sanity. I'm working on building my stamina and my strength, so I started 2 programs to help me.
I was in awe at how much more difficult it was to get back into exercising once you stop.
Basically, I wrote all this to say, never stop! Rest, because your body needs it, but don't give up the fight! Keep your body & mind healthy!!

Just keep working through it small step them boost it up slowly so you don't put to much pressure on yourself
