Is it better to do workouts every day? Or to have rest days? And how many rest days?

It's usually good to have at least 24 hours of rest, but this depends on how intense your workouts are. 

And if you do full body workouts than it wouldn't be a good idea to workout several days in a row, but rather you should have a break between each workout day.

If you do splits, upper body vs. lower body for example, you can alternate and won't have to rest everyday because one day u will do upper body, the next lower body etc. 

Ultimately, rest days are really important! Good luck!
