How tall are you? Calculating your BMI is the first step to figuring out a healthy weight goal to set. Then the key is to consume more calories than you burn in a day. Eat lots of lean protein, fruits and vegetables. I was clinically underweight most of my life, and in order to get up to a healthy weight I was eating around 3000-3500 calories a day, and exercising. In order to create an illusion of having more bulk than you do, focus on chest and shoulder exercises here. Most people, the first thing they see when they meet you is your shoulder girth.
I was severely underweight until I was around 25, so hang in there!
