All through my life, people have told me, oh linzi, your so skinny. i thought, yeah i am look at me. Now i look and i see fat. people no longer tell me how skinny i am. My grades got lower, things weren't looking great. Then i moved school. My grades went up. Things began to get better. But then i fell out with a teacher. Parents got involved, said i couldn't drop the subject. I wasn't sleeping at night, and i was snapping at my friends. Finally i dropped the subject. But that teacher told the other teachers how bad i was. Now my maths teacher doesn't like me. Nor does my cookery teacher, or p.e. Now I'm noticing that I'm putting weight on. Things are going downhill again :(
My daughter had a similar problem in school, and what we told here is to stop pointing the finger at people around her and focus on what she can change about herself that will enable her to have health relationships. #1 respect you teachers. If somehow you've shown them any disrespect, Monday morning you need to find them and apologize.
