I wanna learn how to do a split. I really don't have any idea how to do it or if I need to stretch before I try it. Any suggestions ?

Well...to do splits isn't that simple .and it'll take time.u must do streches exercises 3 a week.and be sure u don't press that hard for that split cause we don't want u t break a lwg lol.just be patient and do ur exercises

A lot of the yoga workouts have some good stretches to help you prepare for splits. You just need to stretch daily, take it slow so you don't hurt yourself and you'll get there. Just try to stretch daily and you'll be able to do them.

Nah. I used to swim and cheer but no I just wanna be able to do that and be more flexible

Half-bound lotus and open triangle will get you started. You can find them both in Feel The Burn Yoga. Child'snpose will also help, if you spread your knees further apart.
