Is it better to run or workout first?

I would run to het warmed up then I would strech and the workout. And do a little streching after u work out so ur muscles dont hurt as bad the next day

My trainer at the gym told me to workout first and then run! This way you will burn more fat when you run! He has me warm up for 5-10 mins on bike, eliptical, walk, etc, ten workout, then do 30 min cardio!
