Gaining Weight and Toning.

Hi, Just wanted to know how I go about gaining weight whilst still keeping fit. Im a UK12 (I look like a UK10 to most because I dont have a big stomach apparently) but anyway I want to put a little weight on my thighs/hips/bum area whilst toning the thighs, stomach and back at the same time. Will I have to go gym quite often and how do I go about eating more without the meals being boring?
