Yes nannas are good for recovery especially keeps you from cramping up... ole charlie horse... I soak in Epsom salt and help relax the muscle and foam rollers. Rest is the best recovery just keep working and push through.
You can grab a jar of 100% whey at the supermarket for less than $20. Since I started taking it after my workouts, I feel stronger the next day and not as sore as I used to be. Works great with water or dairy, but stay off the dairy if you're trying to drop pounds.
