I'm a free runner/Parkour person. I made the transition to working out a total of some days ago. I've been doing core and upper body workouts and have been dealing with aches and muscle pains. I assume my body isnt use to the change. But I want know if there's something I can do to ache less without cutting down on the workout. Any advice?
Just stick with it...I know it can be bad and affect daily life to start with.
When I first started I occasionally on very bad days took 2 paracetamol which lessened the pain slightly but after a month or so (depending on how inactive you was) it stops.
Three components that will help is sleep, protein and keep moving.
I train every weekday working on muscle groups I get very little pain...(weekend off days when I stop moving and nutrition goes a little south, I get a little but easy to live with doesnt affect what I want to do.
