I take meds for my anxiety and it also helps me for my sleep.. I am not getting sleep like I used to.. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm really stressed out because I'm graduating this year at 16 and starting college..

I started to see a naturpath for my anxiety, i now use a herbal tablet called kava, i found that my unnatural synthesized medication made me worse, sluggish and restless, aggravated and cranky (my doc Doesnt believe in Naturpaths, but then again most don't) but the results far out weigh his opinion. Best investment i ever made. Take a look into seeing a natural/herbalist a notable and registered one :-) the amazing thing Ive noticed is, is that Im not having to take these tablets all the time like i used too, and the thy pretty much worked straight away....

Some times when i feel really stressed i drink chamomile  or seven blossoms tea, it helps me to relax and sleep better, but since you take medication, you should ask your doctor first.

Thats a very normal thing to be worried and anxious about. Start finding the exciting things about your new adventure and it will ease the anxiety.

I can totally feel your anxiousness. I am graduating high school this year, too, but I have been doing dual enrollment. My first semester of college was scary! I was so afraid that I would not be able to handle the load, but it is not as bad as everyone says. If you enjoy learning and understand things easily, you will be fine. I would recommend, though, that you take only take three or four classes for your first semester to get accustomed to the load.

Blessings!

I've not slept properly for the last 3 months.
I get to sleep at 3am and get up at 6:30am.
You get used to it but caffeine helps.

Hi Hailey, 1st of all, don't give yourself a hard time don't worry about what you can't change or might not even happen, 2nd avoid booze and any drugs even weed worst things for it, and I know, 3rd regular exercise may help lift your moods and challenge yourself, think of some things that make you nervous or anxious order them from mildest to worse and every week do one of them starting with the easiest,

I have had and still get some pretty bad anxiety. I stopped my mess because they were causing depression. I taught myself how to handle it without any meds or pills. If you want any tips feel free to message me. Anxiety is one of the worse things.

When i started college, some students get so caught up with graduating that they would take more than 4 courses to quickly graduate. Don't let them stress you out.

Go with your own flow. Enjoy college and get involved with an organization you like :)

Try to look at your schedule and see what you can cut out. Less is more.
