Try taking melatonin it works great for me :-)

When you are tired much, ur body sends "hurt" signal to ur brain and it causes some lack of sleep.

take a long warm shower. then take a shot of whatever whisky u drink prefferaby clear works every time and u sleep like a baby.

Less coffee?

I had the same problem. I use meditation to clear my mind right before I go to bed. Maybe you should try that.

Also best advice. Dont worry about it. Your going to sleep when your going to sleep. Just relax :)

Switch to morning workouts instead of late evening ones. If morning is not possible, make sure there's a gap of at least 2 hours before you hit the sack after dinner. Which means if sleeping time is 10 PM have dinner by 8 PM and complete workout by 1915 hrs or 7:15PM latest.

It's seem your thinking too much or something is bothering you. Clear your thoughts, and try to count backwards starting at 1000 or try imaging yourself sleeping without a care in the world.

Get a massage or reflexology done on your feet. It sometimes helps.

All good advice. Try them all, especially the Melatonin, in 3mg doses. Take one about 30 minutes before you want to sleep. A bottle of 60 tablets should cost around $7.

Ok I'm about to tell you the biggest sleeping product that helps a butt load. It's helps make you feel sleepy at night, keeps you asleep all night, you wake up refreshed, AND it gives vivid awesome dreams! I seriously recommend this product. Ok...it's called ZMA's. you could find these at a simple vitamin shop like GNC. Try these and you won't regret it.

Everyone is telling you to clear your mind. I prefer to direct my mind to a fantastical place. Try to imagine you're filming a movie in your head. What if you had superpowers? What would a colony on mars look like? What if you were a celebrity?

I've found I always enter dream state faster when I let my imagination run wild.

Really let go. Stop anything negative or important from entering your mind but free yourself from the restrictions of reality. The majority of the time i wake up with the memory of starting this but no idea when i fell asleep. Everything melds together and i sleep awesome.

Take a melatonin 5mg and do a few relaxing yoga poses for 5 minutes .... then lay down

Melatonin is an all natural sleep aid and is safe for daily use even if you are pregnant. It doesnt make you groggy in the morning and cannot hurt you in any way because its a chemical your body already produces naturally when your boilogical clock says its time to sleep. Insomniacs dont produce very muchand cant sleep. Give this a try and you will have amazing nights of well rested sleep

Welcome to my world. I have been suffering with sleep disorder since high school. Every night is a struggle, I also suffer from restless legs syndrome. It sucks. So I know how stressful it can be when your exhausted but your body just won't let sleep!!
