Core exercise not targeting mid section
When I do a few of the core exercises I don't notice a difference in my mid section like I do in my arms and legs. I always feel the burn in my legs and arms but never my stomach unless I do basic crunches. I noticed with the scissor and the teaser I felt a difference but my joints pop in my hips so after a while I feel uncomfortable. I try to position my self higher/lower do the exercise faster/slower but I can't get the inconvenient popping to stop. Some of the core exercises don't stress my hips so much which is why I like doing them cause I can do more than just crunches but again I only feel the burn in my legs and arms. I do tighten my stomach while I do the exercises, I don't know what else to do...I just had a baby (4 months ago) so I'm wondering if my hips aren't back to normal yet? Advice please.
