Post tips and advice for those new mamas looking to lose a little of that baby weight

Does anybody kno any exercises to make hips smaller? Having a kid takes its toll. Lol

All the bones in your pelvis and hips loosen during pregnancy to make birth easier; afterwards, you have to counteract gravity and nature to put everything back where it was. :/

Any exercise that works the lower abs / glutes will help, but I would suggest side planks and leg lifts..?

Any advice for post natal work out... I gave birth 3 months ago, and started a casual program here, but wondering if there is anything I should be doing to get back in healthy shape again...

Just gave birth 4months ago and now I am starting a MILF Bootcamp for myself. I'm putting together a 4 week program using workouts from this app as well as others and then I guess I'm just going to take it from there and see where that leaves me at the end of week 4! I'm excited yet nervous since I've hardly ever had to workout before, but I'm hoping I can stick with it and make it through and at the end I will be a Momma who Is Looking Fierce aka a MILF! 😊

So what else have you ladies been doing? Are you working out at home or the gym? How do you motivate yourself. I feel like between the 2-3 hour feelings I'm becoming sluggish. Maybe a good workout is wht I need :/

I've lost the 27 lbs in the fist month and a half by cutting out all unhealthy foods. But now the diet isn't working anymore and I need to add in workouts. I'm basically at my per-baby weight. But now I wanna get back to my college weight...so I have 30 more lbs to go. An advice?

Drink lots and lots of water; much baby weight is just water weight.

Breastfeed if you can! It burns an extra 500 cal/day.

Pilates was my go-to after my daughter; went from 184 / size 14 to 160 / size 8 in about 3 mos.

Biggest diet tip I can give you:
AVOID PROCESSED AND SO-CALLED DIET FOODS! They are the worst thing you can eat, especially when nursing.

When I breastfed my newborn 4 yrs ago, I lost 16 kg in 3 weeks just by breastfeeding. I did not exercise at that time, n now I have to pay the price for the belly fat! :-)

Main advice - make sure you keep active.Β

I had my baby two years ago and before I was just under 11 stone, a healthy weight for me as my frame is big and I'm about 5ft 7, after the baby I became sluggish and lazy and now two years on weighing nearly 16 stone and its so much harder to get rid of, so act early before you loose motivation and gain 5 stone like me :)Β

I agree being active is the key. I gave birth to twins 9 months ago lost all the water weight right after their birth but before becoming pregnant I was in the process of loosing marriage weight lol. It's a challenge to remain motivated so I love ppl like u keeping it real. My goal is to go back to my pre wedding weight.

Hi right now I use my now bowflex treadclimber 3 days a week, Jillian Michaels yoga meltdown twice a week and AB Ripper X from P90X from Skimble. It's my second week and the weight is def coming off. Believe u me its not easy to remain motivated especially with the twins and all but I try my best to keep going.

I recommend starting with cardio & stabilty exersices. The stability exersices will engage your abs without straining them. As you go start adding some strenght training & standing ab exersices. Next add weights & move to the floor. Remember when concentrating on your abs to work your back & obliques. I made the mistake of over working my abs after my 2nd child. You do not want to do that. I pulled my lower abdominals & they did not heal correctly until after my 4th child. I had lumpy abs & back issues for 5yrs because of it. Post Baby Beginner
Itty Bitty Waist & A Round Thing In Your Face
Wii Fit Hula Hoop- my waist went back down to 22" last summer when I was doing this on a regular basis.
