Shin Splint?

Sorry...but how do you know if you have a shin splint? I'm just a little bit worried because just on my right leg my skin hurts...but it's not unbearable...

If you have shin splints, you will feel pain when standing on one leg, walking, running, jumping, etc.. The pain will not be in the skin, however, it will feel deeper then the skin. The bone will actually hurt. If you have a hard ball of some sort, run it up and down the front of your leg while applying slight pressure. If you feel sharp pain in a certain area when doing this, you have shin splints.
