Hi. BMI is just an indicator and used as a general indicator it is fine but please don't get too hung up on it as it does not take into account muscle mass or bone density. A 6 foot 220lb bodybuilder would be classed as very overweight for example.
Try to eat good healthy foods and do a training regime that suits you. Good luck!
