Need workouts to get back in shape but have a bad ankle.
Take fish oils and look into juiceing recipes that have tumeric in them. And then start walking for a hour a day. Eventually your body will be healed enough to where you can jog or even run
How bad is it hurt? I have weak ankles and use to wear an ankle brace anytime I worked out, don't need it anymore though.
Strengthen the ankle by doing a single leg stance on a pillow or couch cushion. Work up to holding for 2 minutes without rest. If you have theraband do resistance sets in all 4 directions. Once you master those without pain or fatigue start plyometric exercises

Also you could still do lying leg lifts, situps etc all depends what your trying to achieve.
