Need workouts to get back in shape but have a bad ankle.

Take fish oils and look into juiceing recipes that have tumeric in them. And then start walking for a hour a day. Eventually your body will be healed enough to where you can jog or even run

If it's only a temporary injury then you can still do upper body exercises ie arms & shoulders

How bad is it hurtI have weak ankles and use to wear an ankle brace anytime I worked out, don't need it anymore though.

I almost broke it and tour up all the manidkis and almost broke my ligament.

Strengthen the ankle by doing a single leg stance on a pillow or couch cushion.  Work up to holding for 2 minutes without rest.  If you have theraband do resistance sets in all 4 directions.  Once you master those without pain or fatigue start plyometric exercises

What Vince mentioned are great tips.

Also you could still do lying leg lifts, situps etc all depends what your trying to achieve.

Hope it gets better soon.
