Last week I twisted my ankle(non workout related). I have been trying to do small things like squats and walking so I won't get out of the habit of working out. How long should I wait before I go back full throttle? I was looking online and they said 2 months, that seems a bit long.

You can do stuff that keeps you off your feet but still provides a cardio effect.

You might be able to do this workout without hurting your ankle:
If not though it gives you an idea of the tabata style (20 seconds intensity, 10 seconds rest) to burn calories.

From that just check out exercises that you can do lying down and have some fun
