Pulled a chest muscle.....not good!

Hey....anyone done this before? I did it 3 nights ago whilst using the ab wheel at home. Went a little lower then i was ready for and straight away felt a pain in my chest on the left. Stopped immediatly but went gym next day as it didnt feel too bad.

Big mistake! Suffering yesterday and today. Hurts when i move and breathe in. Just hoping it doesnt affect my future training too much

Ive been there. No worries. Just a mild strain. Freaked me out too the first time it happened. Couldn't work out right for a week. But it passes like any strain. Just let it heal properly for a couple days, so not to further injure the area

I have been totally freaking out! Im taking loadsa painkillers just so it helps so i can breathe properly. Its so uncomfortable.

Don't go above your weight threshold and this won't happen

I didnt do it using weights. I went to low on an ab wheel. Learnt my lesson. When i do weight i do what is comfortable and move up with what i can manage keeping good form.

On a wheel your using your own weight..

I wouldn't worry if i were you.  I didnt have to resort to pain killers.  But that feeling of an elephant sitting on your chest as your breathing was rough.  Took 3 days for pain to subside.  Another few just to recover and make sure.  This time next week you will forget you ever had a chest pain

Just get some rest and stop workout for some time. Muscles need time to heal. I hope this help

Well this must be some tear because last night i was crying in agony and had to go a + e. Pains just not easing

Thanks pains eased a lot since last night. Think its a case of it getting worse before it gets better.

It does. Im so upset with myself. It seems its getting worse before its going to get better. Lets hope it heals quickly
