Lumbar degenerative disc disease

I need some advice if anyone can help me please! I have severe lumbar degenerative disc disease. I've been going to physical therapy, chiropractor care, and pain management for over 2 years now. I've gained weight from it because if I move around and try to exercise, my back will get worse and I will be barley able to walk/ sleep for days. The most exercise I'm able to do is swimming; but that seemed to hurt me this week too. Does anyone know how to do a couple exercises/ stretches to help with this without making it worse?any advice is appreciated, thank you!
