Rest Days!?

How often does everyone take a day off? I know some people say its not nessasary, or its crucial to add them in and others say to just do cardio on your rest day. Or just focus on diet.
When I was lifting I use to 3-4 days working out and one day off.
Now that I'm using this app I feel like going longer without a rest day it's easier to fit my workouts in each day. I went on a 19 day streak took a rest day and now I'm on an 11 day streak. But some days I just feel so exhausted.
So all I want to know is what does everyone's training schedule look like as far as taking a day off?

Well i would say that u do ur workouts about 4-5 days a week. So u will have 2-3 days as ur recovery and the rest. And put each 'rest day' between the 'workout day'. I personally think thats the best option for everyone. But always maintain the good nutrion tho. Otherwise workouts und stuff would be a complete useless

Hey Nicole.   I aim to WO a minimum six days a week alternating between cardio, strength and yoga/flexibility with regular walking for recovery also.   Don't think it matters if you have a rest day or not as long as you allow recovery before doing the same muscle groups again.   I'm also mindful of my body and if I feel I should have an extra day off I will.   Keep at it , be smart and listen to your body.

It depends greatly on what you do. How intense is it? How much rest are you getting on the rest of the day? How is your sleep and food? What is your fitnes level?
