Hidradenitis suppurativa / HS / scarring

I need your help, everyone.
I've never exactly been one to love my body and my appearance but I haven't gotten to the point where I'm in tears about it. That is, until today I haven't. I have HS. ( For those of you who don't know what HS is and would like to learn, please refer to nobsabouths.com it's rather helpful in explaining. ) for the first time since I was diagnosed [ early 2015 ], I took a good look at my scarring and I was utterly disgusted. It's dark and ugly to be blunt about it.. It makes me worry about the future. I'm currently in a long distance relationship ( aka - never seen each other fully nude ) and I don't know how he'll take it when we do meet and, eventually, do see each other nude. My HS is mainly on my thighs and the "panty line" ( where your panties touch your skin between your thigh and your private bits ).
What I'm asking for is anyone with bad scarring / HS to give me some advice on how to get passed seeing your scars as ugly and suggestions on some very good scar cream.

hey! recently self diagnosed myself once i saw a commervial on tv. however ive had this since puberty. i dont have tons of advice but i use powder to stay dry and keep from sweating. it helps sort of. as far as my partner... im really insecure about it. i havent told him bc it never came up. i feel like he just embraces me for who i am, scars and all. if i have any breakouts tho i do decline certian things in the bedroom. i dont have much advice, but im right there with ya!
